Philodendeon are an awesome beginner plant. They are super lush and hearty without a ton of fuss. 
 
Water thouroughly 1x per week, give bright indirect to fully indirect natural light and watch them trail and grow. They can easily be trimmed and propagated to make even more plants to share or add to your collection.
